Unstacking the Deck with Jason Robo and Kyle Beattie was a video version of a radio show I did for the Humboldt State University (now CalPoly Humboldt) student radio station KRFH Radio Free Humboldt. The concept is corrupt information is like playing a rigged game and UTD was an effort to give viewers/listeners a fair shot. UTD was made available online and aired on Access Humboldt, the public access station in northern California’s Humboldt County.
Episodes had themes such as technology or the false left-right election paradigm. We interviewed people such as 2008 Green party presidential candidate David Cobb, scientist Gregg Roberts on the nanoparticles indicating explosives in the WTC rubble, and Bruce Gagnon from Space for Peace AKA the Global Network Against Weapons and Nuclear Power in Space. We broke up the show into local, California, USA, and international news sections with thematically appropriate music, books, and documentary films. Ironically our censorship issue was censored by YouTube.
Robo gained notoriety in 2008 for disorderly conduct charges falsely portrayed in the lamestream media for placing informative stickers challenging the “oafficial” narrative on the September 11th terrorist attacks on a flight at Boston’s Logan Airport.
Robo also ended up getting arrested while filming budget protests at Humboldt State over a bogus and later dismissed charge for a concealed weapon. This was a perfect opportunity for Humboldt’s very own anti-cannabis yellow journalist Kevin Hoover to defame Robo in a seriously flawed article in his Arcata Eye. The Eye was targeted in 2009 by Robo in a boycott of its advertisers for its perpetuation of inherently racist anti-cannabis propaganda.
Beattie also has achieved his own level of street cred, or infamy depending on your politics. He has thoroughly discredited the government’s COVID-19 narrative using their own data in his study, Worldwide Bayesian Causal Impact Analysis of Vaccine Administration on Deaths and Cases Associated with COVID-19: A BigData Analysis of 145 Countries. Reuters features a “fact check” on his work that has been mentioned by the likes of Steve Kirsch.
